OVERVIEW: Looking for an experienced colorist with background in textiles and fashion garments. Must have strong understanding of fabric/textiles, color theory and prints. Must be extremely organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Work in a team environment with cross functional partners such as merchandisers, designers and production. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct review and approval of all lab dips, print strikeoffs, trims, embroideries for development and production, ensuring color consistency within garments and coordination within sets, collections etc. - Strong sense of aesthetics and color cohesion. - Communicate color to overseas suppliers and vendors using standard color commenting language. - Track and chart all lab dips and bulk fabrics from development to production. -...
