Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Description Position Overview: As an integral member of a cross-functional team, collaborate with Project Engineering, Industrial Design, and Factory Engineering to design and develop new fitness products. Perform a variety of technical assignments to support various projects through the Key Technology (KT) and New Product Development (NPD) processes led by a project engineer. Prepare CAD models and drawings for various components and assemblies. Ensure compliance with product specifications, internal and external standards, and testing requirements. Complete document control tasks relating to the creation, maintenance, organization and improvement of technical related documentation. Conduct product and component testing to validate designs. This is a non-supervisory position. Responsibilities: Personnel: · Work with Project Engineer, Industrial Design, Factory Engineer, and other members of the product development team to translate customer requirements into engineering product specifications. · Frequent communication with North America and Asia-based project team members to ensure alignment on technical issues and project deliverables.
