Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Engineer

Job description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team supporting the design, development, and sustainment of advanced Communication Systems. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering concepts, hands-on circuit design experience, and expertise in power systems. You will collaborate with other engineers to drive innovation, solve complex technical problems, and deliver mission-critical solutions. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the design, development, and testing of undersea communication and power systems.- Perform circuit design, mixed-signal analysis, and troubleshooting at the board and module level.- Lead or support high-voltage DC power module design from a few watts to kilowatt+ converters.- Conduct Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).- Develop specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for electronic systems.- Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power meters for testing and troubleshooting.- Support assembly and validation of circuit cards, modules, and subsystems in a lab environment.- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior...
