Job Description Buyer - Team Leader: An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join us as Lead Buyer within the Naval Defense organization based in Peterborough, ON. The Buyer Team Leader role is responsible for managing and executing transactional purchasing processes for products and / or services across the business. This role will provide purchasing process and task guidance across the internal operational Buying team, as well as to our internal stakeholders, ensuring tasks are managed and completed in an efficient, effective and process compliant manner. This role will be accountable for managing and improving team performance as it relates to completion of purchasing tasks for internal stakeholders. This role will lead and/or support process improvement projects with focuses that span cost, timeline, and delivery improvement goals with a focus on improved, measurable results.
