Job Description Summary: Assists physicians with endoscopic procedures by setting up the equipment, helping with the actual procedure, cleaning the equipment and room, and entering charges. Assists nursing staff with clerical duties and patient care when available. Responsibilities And Duties: 1. Maintains a safe and therapeutic patient care environment. 2. Demonstrates competence in providing care and services to patients based on the patients age specific and/or functional needs. 3. All employees shall abide by the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act HIPA a regulations, which help protect the privacy, security, & confidentiality of patient health information. 4.
