Position Summary: The Omaha Business Banking Specialist is responsible for the customer service for Omaha commercial loan customers and for coordinating the pre-closing transaction between all involved parties from application through closing. In addition, this position is responsible for ongoing file maintenance of the portfolio. Qualifications: - Support loan officer by coordinating all steps of the loan transaction, from application to closing. - Ensure proper approval for note requests and any variances from loan presentation summary prior to document preparation. - Communicate with loan officer, customer, and documentation preparation loan assistant to determine closing date. - Coordinate all steps of the loan transaction, including preparing loans for approval and closing, processing loans, preparing loan documents, assembling and submitting documentation, funding closed loans. - Complete Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) worksheet. - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in person, on the phone, via email and through written correspondence.
