Pursers work aboard commercial/at-sea processing vessels in the Bering Sea, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Alaska and Aleutian Islands. The Purser/Data Manager works under the direction of the Master and Mate and is responsible for assisting onboard managers with the administration of their duties, communicating vessel information and needs to the Seattle office and governmental agencies as required.
