Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Department: Long Term Care/ Ventilation Unit Location: Unity Specialty Hospital, St. Mary's Campus, 89 Genesee Street, Rochester, NY 14611 Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; 7:00 pm to 7:30 am; Weekend Shift Every Other Weekend; On-call: 1 shift every other week SUMMARY: Provide assessment, therapy, equipment, assistance, education, and problem resolution to all customers at Unity Heath System during assigned shift in all aspects of respiratory care. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values. RESPONSIBILITIES: Possess, maintain, and deliver high clinical standards in the assessment, administration, education, and observation of respiratory therapy as ordered by Providers. Demonstrates continued competency on all current respiratory therapy modalities and equipment in all patient care areas of the hospital including both acute and sub acute care. Actively participate in current and continuing education and development of respiratory care, including new employee orientation.
