The Equipment Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing programs that control the operation of the equipment, and their key responsibilities are as follows: Safety: - Create drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks - Developing and revising software programs that allows the equipment to operate and perform specific movements for that individual process. - Program Amada EMK, Amada Pega, the new Amada 6k Fiber Laser, Standard & Niagara Press Brakes, RAS MiniBender, Schechtl & Schroder Folders, and Orion Cobot - Understanding what is required from our customers and being able to translate that information into a fully executable software program and relatable equipment. - Responsible for launching new products into production which may include developing new tooling and programming. - Conduct trial or simulations of those programs...
