The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for Assistant Resident Manager. The Assistant Resident Manager job is part-time (20-25 hours) with only weekend hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.; or 11 p.m. - 7 p.m. The work shifts will rotate. Job Summary: Assists in supervising the day-to-day operations and staff of the center’s resident facilities in the absence of the Resident Manager; monitors clients progress in the program and ensures compliance with program standards. Serves as lead worker to resident staff; trains and instructs employees in the proper methods and procedures. Supervises, observes, and monitors progress of clients living in the center residence; provides crisis-intervention counseling with clients as necessary. Trains clients in performing housekeeping and kitchen duties; monitors work in progress and upon completion to ensure completeness.
