Design Release Engineer - Electric Drive Modules

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Engineer to join our Electric Drive Module (EDM) team. This role is focused on managing the release of components and systems within the EDM. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive field with previous design release experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and release process for EDM components, including documentation, change management, and milestone tracking - Lead design reviews to ensure proper component packaging both internal to the EDMs and external to the vehicle and surrounding components - Coordinate with CAE groups to ensure functional objectives are being met and correlated to real world results - Support concept and pre-production builds for testing and evaluation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, manufacturing, and quality to ensure timely and accurate release of designs - Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage part specifications, drawings, and validation plans - Apply knowledge of integrated circuits and electronic components to support design decisions, issue resolution, and system level design - Support the development and m...
