Job description

Location: Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast Salary: NHS Specialty Doctor (2021 contract) Pay Scale £61,542 - £99,216 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience) and 5% Availability Supplement Hours: 10 PAs (40 hours) per week with 1 in 5 on-call commitment ( non-resident). Part-time or job share considered. Contract: Fixed term until Aug 2027, with the option of extending by mutual agreement Closing Date: 23rd April 2026: Interview Date : Friday 1st May (pm) Start Date : June 2026: What we are looking for: Complete GMC registration, a licence to practice and at least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (2 of which must have been in relevant acute specialities/or demonstration of equivalent experience and competencies). MB ChB or equivalent - Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Communication skills that are sensitive to patients and carers - Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
