Job description

Summary of Essential Functions: - Performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analysis to provide data for use in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Educational Requirements: - Doctor, Master or Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or Medical Technology or equivalent required. - Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Licenses/Certifications and Qualifications: - One year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing preferred. - Must meet CLIA requirements for high complexity testing personnel. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. - Ability to generalize, evaluate or make decisions based on sensory or judgmental criteria. Follow instructions exactly. Physical Requirements: - Bending, walking, standing for long periods of time, and lifting of up to 35 lbs. - Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and color vision. - Must be able to handle all types of biological and physical specimens using proper blood and body fluid precautio...
