Department: 36303 Advocate South Suburban Hospital - Radiology Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Swing 11A-730P, weekend availability preferred, Holiday availability preferred Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85 Major Responsibilities: Requisitions: - 1)Obtain and examine requisition for every exam in order to be aware of additional information such as procedure requested, patient's condition, special notes or comments. - 2)Question patient before procedure to obtain a pertinent history and write that history on the requisition. - 3)Screen and document possible pregnancy on all female patients of child-bearing age - 4)Document history, pregnancy with time and initials Patient/customer contact: - 1)Attempt to understand patient's needs and respond accordingly. - 2)Introduce self and explain procedure to every patient. Reassure and consistently attempt to obtain patient cooperation while reducing anxiety.
