Discord is used by over 200 million people every month for many different reasons, but there’s one thing that nearly everyone does on our platform: play video games. Over 90% of our users play games, spending a combined 1.5 billion hours playing thousands of unique titles on Discord each month. Discord plays a uniquely important role in the future of gaming. We are focused on making it easier and more fun for people to talk and hang out before, during, and after playing games. We are looking for a Design Program Manager to partner closely with our Systems teams. This is a high-impact, high-trust role that sits at the intersection of design craft, systems thinking, and cross-functional execution. The Systems team is made up of Design Systems and Creative Systems. The Design Systems team is focused on developing the core primitives and standards that engineers and designers use to build Discord's products. The Creative Systems team is focused on defining and maintaining the graphic, illustration, and motion systems that shape Discord's visual identity.
