The Quincy Salvation Army Emergency Shelter is seeking dedicated Shelter Monitors to help provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. No prior social work experience? No problem! If you bring empathy, kindness, and a genuine desire to help, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed. Responsibilities: - Pay Rate: $17.00/hour, with an additional $1.00/hour for overnight shifts. - Shifts: Flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Status: Full-time, 40hours/week. - Monitor the shelter premises to ensure safety and security for all clients and staff. - Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment while upholding shelter rules and policies. - Complete intake forms for new clients and update client files as needed. - Assist clients with access to basic needs like food, linens, and/or hygiene products. - Respond to client concerns, providing emotional support and referrals for services as appropriate. - Report any incidents, safety concer...
