Department Chemistry & Biochemistry-OPS Compensation: $15.00 Hourly Required Qualifications: Description: This position is primarily engaged in facilitating research and research-related administrative activities of Dr. Szymon Ciesielski research group. Qualifications : Previous experience in utilizing laboratory techniques, including chemistry, molecular biology, and biochemistry experimental methods, is highly desired. Preference will be given to candidates with a B.S. degree or higher in Biochemistry or a related field; however, candidates without a completed professional degree may also be considered for this position. In addition to laboratory experience, the candidate must also present a desirable level of professional and administrative skills. That includes strong leadership and teamwork skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as a willingness to mentor students. Proficiency in scientific writing and communications is highly desired.
