Job Description: Senior Interconnection Engineer Reports to: Director of Interconnection: OCI Energy is an industry leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects within the ERCOT market. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of projects across MISO and other key North American markets, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Interconnection Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our organization’s growth while taking a lead technical role in cutting-edge renewable energy projects. Job Summary: Under general direction of the Director of Interconnection, the Senior Interconnection Engineer plays a critical technical role in the full lifecycle of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Responsibilities include leading interconnection studies, performing advanced power flow modeling and transmission analysis, supporting application strategy, and coordinating with utilities and ISOs.
