Summary: Staff designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC (“the Firm”) as a Copyright/Trademark Paralegal are under the general supervision of the attorneys to whom assigned, as well as the Chief Human Resources Officer. As the Copyright/Trademark Paralegal, you will provide legal support to the attorneys and work with clients on their copyright and trademark filing and maintenance needs. Qualifications: - Prepare and file trademark applications; - Review and Manage client trademark dockets; - Prepare and record documents affecting the chain of title for U.S. and International trademarks; - Responsible for various aspects of the trademark process, including application, prosecution, maintenance, Trademark and Trial Appeal Board proceedings and related docketing; - Coordinate and oversee U.S. and foreign trademark filings; - Perform various tasks including copyright registrations, searches and communication with the Copyright office; - Communicate with attorneys, clients and foreign agents regarding pending trademark applications and registered trademarks; - Prepare Office Action responses and related correspondence; - Review and maintain renewal and maintenance dockets for clients. - A Ba...
