Hospitalist Scholars – Subspecialty Track, Instructor position

Description The Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified/board eligible in General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required. Responsibilities may include nights and weekends at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, as well as limited weekend shifts at Good Shepherd Penn Partners Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). In addition to a competitive salary and generous benefits, Scholars are eligible to receive an annual bonus, which can be applied towards loan repayment at the end of each year of clinical service completed.
