Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far northwestern Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, poolside bars, a tour desk, a day spa and hair salon. We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, with a particular focus on the maintenance, repairs, property presentation, and OH&S compliance. The position sits on the Executive Committee of the resort. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for a range of duties including, but not limited to: - Prioritise repairs and maintenance across the property. - Manage the Maintenance Department budget and prepare required reports in a timely manner. - Manage department staff to ensure maximum efficiency of labor, wage control and performance management. - Actively participate in the recruitment, induction and training of new staff in keeping with Resort policies and procedures. - Provide advice on cost-saving initiatives that are within th...
