Engineering Technician The Opportunity: Use tools and equipment to assemble or fabricate parts, pieces, and products in a prototyping and manufacturing environment. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision. You Have: - 5+ years of experience in product development, testing, field repair, depot, shipyard, test range, industrial, manufacturing, or prototyping environments - Experience supporting engineering, product development, and test activities in a laboratory, pilot, or manufacturing environment - Experience with computer aided design sof tware and additive manufacturing - Experience applying coatings using equipment such as spray guns, rollers, and b rus hes - Experience reading and interpreting blueprints when applying patterns, and directions for the mixture, use, and application of various kinds of coating materials, solvents, and precoating agents - Ability to rapidly prototype, repair, and refine parts, fixtures, and product components using manufacturing methods such as tooling, machining, and additive...
