This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors’ practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties. Job Summary: The Radiology Aide is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients and their families. The incumbent will assist with the daily operations of the MRI Center by providing support with patient flow, transporting, initial screening and prepping patients. Job Responsibilities: - Greet and escort patients to the MRI suite, informing them of any unexpected delays with appointments and procedures. - Collaborate with the Front Desk, Nursing, and Technologist staff. - Confirm patient identifiers and the type of study, prior to exam preparation. - Assist patients with completing all requisite documentation needed for the procedure. - Perform initial screening for the MRI study and provide instructions for the exam. - Naviga...
