Job Description Job Description: The Network Engineer III manages the purchase, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems. The Engineer is responsible for evaluating current systems and works on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. The Engineer plans large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies; using expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications. The Engineer operates under general direction and provides work leadership and training to less experienced network engineers. This position is 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week, based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina (North Hills) Desired Skills: Solid communication skills. The ability to translate end-user concerns to technical needs for communication within team or with other IT teams. Good collaboration skills, within team and with others.
