Job description

The Hydrogen Isotope Science Group at Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a Tritium Technology Scientist. We want a highly motivated individual to work towards pushing boundaries of hydrogen isotope separations, materials science, impurity removal strategies, hydrogen storage, and novel solution for isotopic separations. The ideal candidate(s) would have a strong background in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, physics, or materials science. materials science and polymer science, preferably coupled with post-doctoral experience. - Lead and contribute to research projects focused on the development of hydrogen isotope processing technologies and characterization of materials for tritium applications. - Write research proposals aligned to SRNL's core competencies - Design and conduct experiments, and analyze results, - Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists and engineers. - Contribute to intellectual property development through patent and copyright applications.
