Job description

The Gymnastics Summer Day Camp Instructor is responsible for gymnastics instruction for gymnasts ages 6-12 ranging from beginner to USAG Level 3/XCEL Gold skill levels. Instructors also oversee non-gymnastics programming including meal and snack periods, warm-ups, games, contests and more! Essential Duties: - Provide an excellent level of service for all participants and families - Maintain a positive attitude and high energy level throughout camp programming - Gym/equipment safety checks - Set up/tear down equipment - Plan age and level appropriate gymnastics lessons - Assess camper progress - Maintain safety of all assigned groups and areas - Supervise meal and snack periods - Camper check-in/out - Lead warm-ups, games and contests - Attend all trainings and staff meetings - Additional duties as required Required Qualifications: - Prior experience working with children - CPR/FA/AED Certification (must be obtained by start date) Preferred Qualifications: - 1 year of gymnastics coaching experience - Knowledge of the sport of gymnastics - Experience spotting gymnastics skills - Ability to manage a group of 6-9 children Work Schedule: 10-40 hours/week. - M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (f...
