Principal Engineer / Consulting Engineer (AI-Led Digital Platform)

Job description

We’re seeking a Principal Engineer / Consulting Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of a modern smart energy platform. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership and client advisory, balancing hands-on architectural oversight with strategic stakeholder engagement. You’ll operate as a senior technical authority across the program, guiding engineering direction while partnering directly with senior client stakeholders. The platform build is heavily AI-led, and we are looking for someone genuinely proficient in, and motivated by, applying AI across the full software development lifecycle. This role will suit a true full-stack principal who is comfortable moving between React frontends, Node.js-based integration layers, and AWS cloud infrastructure, while also confidently navigating executive conversations.
