Product Engineer (Designer)

Primary Duties: - Performs diverse engineering activities involving product evolution and design - Supports project personnel for specific phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans and product testing - Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, customer requirements and related specifications. - Provide necessary calculations required on new and existing products - Provides engineering production support to machining, welding, assembly and other departments - Provide technical support for field service, the customer, sales and manufacturing - Evaluate and report on new materials, technology and techniques for improving manufacturing and service of the product line - Interface with various departments on purchased items - In coordination with the quality department, troubleshoots quality issues as it pertains to material rejects, material review, warrantee issues and custom engineering requirements (NCIR’s) - Develop, w...
