Job Description: Position Description: Implements and supports financial database technology assets in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment. Builds database architecture and manages administration of Oracle database and replication technologies -- Golden Gate. Drives technology product lifecycle management and delivers cross dependency application database infrastructure initiatives. Triages complex technical problems to restore services and implement actions to prevent recurring incidents. Automates and streamlines manual processes, using Python and AWS technologies. Modifies existing databases and database management systems or collaborates with programmers and analysts to make changes. Develops methods for integrating products so they work properly together-- customizing commercial databases to fit specific needs . Primary Responsibilities: Documents design, operational procedures, and standards for highly complex /business critical databases. Provides 7*24 first level database production support for enterprise critical applications. Tests and implements new design features for general use .
