Job DetailsJob Location: Charlotte Campus - Charlotte, NC 28277The Upper School Dean of Students is responsible for providing support for students, parents, teachers, and administration to enhance and enable student success in school. The Dean of Students will work closely with the Upper School Administrative Team in carrying out the academic and behavioral programs of the School. This position will be proactive, seeking ideas and programs to support student growth and wellness while being responsive to immediate disciplinary needs. This position will participate in the Upper School Faculty Performance Review by managing the review process for a cohort of teachers. Student Discipline: Oversee disciplinary and behavioral matters in conjunction with the Upper School Head Support teacher needs with discipline issues Participate or lead the development of behavior support systems and intervention strategies Maintain records of disciplinary actions taken Student and Parent Support: Responsible for the safety and accountability of all Upper School students from 8:15-3:20 Oversee student CLS policies, explaining and enforcing rules while maintaining a trusting relationship Counsel and/or...
