JOB CATEGORY: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH / MENTAL HEALTH / COMMUNITY SUPPORT / TEACHER / INSTRUTOR / PSR POSITION SUMMARY: This is a combined position for COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER & PSR CLASSROOM INSTRUCTOR . COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER – Under supervision, this position provides Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) for adults with significant behavioral health disorders and their families AND for children or adolescents experiencing Serious Emotional/Neurobiological/Behavioral Disorders and their families, to improve quality of life and maintain the highest possible ability to function independently within the community. PSR CLASSROOM INSTRUCTOR : This position works in a variety of settings to provide individual training including the major components of basic living skills development, psychosocial skills training and therapeutic socialization.
