Job Title: Staff Analyst – Banking & Investments Location: Hybrid - Springfield, IL: Position Summary: The Staffing Analyst – Banking & Investments supports daily cash management, banking operations, and investment activities. This role assists with budgeting, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives while serving as a key point of contact with banking partners. The position also ensures compliance with internal controls and supports corporate treasury operations. Key Responsibilities: - Execute daily banking activities, including cash positioning, short-term investments, and long-term investment transactions. - Process and reconcile daily bank activity. - Assist with projects related to cash collections, disbursements, and broader cash management initiatives. - Support the preparation and review of annual budgets for banking and investment-related expenses; track actuals and provide monthly variance analysis. - Serve as a primary point of contact for banking partners and assist in resolving operational issues. - Review and update cash management procedures to ensure compliance with SOX (Section 404) and disaster recovery requirements. - Support management in the ope...
