Description NORTHWEST NAZARENE UNIVERSITY: OFFICE OF STUDENT LIFE: Director of Counseling Services Description of Position: The position of Director of Counseling Services in Student Life, serves as the administrator and team leader of Counseling Services in the Counseling Center at Northwest Nazarene University. The candidate should have primary competence in the field of mental health counseling/therapy. The position will include: personal counseling; supervision of Counseling Center counselors, counseling interns, practicum students, and LPCs pursuing clinical licensure; conducting training; provide group/department services as needed; developing materials appropriate to counseling functions; promoting the Counseling Center and counseling processes on campus; and participating in Student Life staff activities. This position reports to the VP of Student Life. This is a .83 FTE (40 hours a week), ten-month, exempt position.
