Classification Title: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Sleep Medical Director Classification Minimum Requirements: MD or DO with Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Sleep Medicine. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida. Job Description: The University of Florida College of Medicine–Gainesville, is seeking applicants for a Sleep Medical Director within the Department of Medicine. This is a 1.0 FTE position reporting to the chief of the division. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical care delivered by faculty within the Sleep program, promoting investigator-initiated scholarship, and engaging in training of house staff and students. Substantial commitments of space and resources will be available for the successful candidate to expand Divisional activities. Appointment will be at the tenure or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, based on qualifications.
