Title: Electrician: CREATING POOL OF APPLICANTS FOR PERMANENT AND EXTRA HELP Division Name: Finance and Planning: Department: Building Maintenance: General Summary: To install and maintain electrical equipment during its use, construction, remodeling or repair. Required Qualifications: 1. High school graduation or equivalent. 2. Experience sufficient to qualify as a journeyman Electrician, with a minimum of five (5) years of actual work in the trade, including apprenticeship and/or vocational training. The trade for this purpose shall include work normally performed by Electricians i.e. installing, maintaining, and/or repairing electrical systems, generators, transformers, motors and other electrical/electronic controls, electrical switchboard and other apparatus utilizing electricity, electrical, electronic, and direct digital control systems, fire and alarm systems, and associated electrical, electronic and fiber optic equipment. 3. Valid driver's license. 4. A final candidate must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical exam. Employment is contingent on the successful result of the pre-employment physical.
