Description The University of Chicago’s Department of Radiology invites applications for a Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor on the School of Medicine track. The Section Chief will have the opportunity to: The Section Chief will participate in strategic planning, budgeting, faculty recruitment, and operational oversight for the Section; nurture relationships with referring providers; and contribute to institutional outreach. Clinical responsibilities include the full spectrum of MSK imaging and procedures. Protected administrative time is provided to support leadership activities. Weekly remote reading days are available , and the position includes teaching, supervision of trainees, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.
