Title: Maintenance Supervisor Classification/Job Grade : Salary Location: Battle Creek, MI: Department: Maintenance: Supervised by: Maintenance Manager: Job Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor , in cooperation with supervisors, leads and operators in each area, is r esponsible for the effectiv e execution of Electrical work in the plant & Battle Creek facilities. Monday - Friday - Flexible off shift hours! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with and col laborate with all departments to ensure that plans are aligned and operations remain fully functional . Motivate, lead and manage a passionate and diverse personnel group that operates based on a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement. Establish and hold people accountable to team and individual goals and objectives. Practice safe working habits, ability to follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, belt systems, motors, pumps, and other industrial machine components. Ability to perform and supervise mechanical work, valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, lubrication systems....
