Job Description Van driver- Morecambe: Start 5:45am - Average 45 hour working week Any 5 from 7 days, with 1 in 4 saturdays £31,449 Join us as a Van Driver at our Brakes Depot in Morecambe and enjoy a professional driving career with world-class, award-winning training and high operational standards. You’ll start with a thorough induction - then you'll be providing our customers a friendly totally dedicated delivery service of food orders taking care to resolve any issues along the way. It's a vital role, and it can be hard work, but a Brakes Van Driver makes it look easy! You'll need to pay attention for accurately picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature controlled vehicle. You'll need awareness of Vehicle Standards Agency ( DVSA) Compliance t o ensure your vehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensure roadworthiness. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customers premises so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.
