About The Team The School of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for the training of veterinary science graduates and the degree program has received international accreditation. A central part of the training is development of core clinical competencies and as part of this process veterinary science students undertake training in our hospital, clinics, and clinical services. In addition to the training of undergraduate veterinarians, SVM also trains a number of postgraduate specialists in Residency programs. Veterinary professional practice is central to the curriculum within the School of Veterinary Medicine. The program contributes to the teaching of all veterinary students as well as participating in international collaborations on graduate outcomes and day one competencies. The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University is an ASAV accredited facility with a robust referral, emergency and primary care caseload across a breadth of companion animal and food animal species.
