The IDD LVN provides nursing services to people with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities who are enrolled in MHMRCV’s HCS, TxHmL and GR services. The LVN I is responsible for the performance of health care procedures and monitoring consumer's health conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to: completing nursing evaluations, completing assessments and medical staffing reports, administering and monitoring medications, instructing consumers, staff and others in proper medical techniques, making referrals for appropriate medical services and monitoring and disseminating results of medical services provided by other professionals, performing TB tests, attending medical appointments as needed, attending meetings and being on-call.
