Position Title SW KC Mkt Athletic Trainer Olathe Medical Pavilion D: Position Summary / Career Interest: The Athletic Trainer plans and implements treatment programs for injured high school and/or middle school athletes according to the principles and practices of athletic training. Attends a minimum of three (3) events per week and daily practices to provide preventive athletic training services, as well as care for the injured athlete; communicates with the coaches, athletes, and parents regarding athlete injury, rehabilitation, and prevention; prepares written documentation pertaining to patient evaluation and treatment; schedules treatment sessions with athletes; assists in preparing and conducting inservice training and continuing education programs; may participate in Performance Improvement activities and processes; and is expected to support the mission, vision, and values of Olathe Medical Center, Inc.
