Job Description Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group , based in Richmond, VA . Remote work options are available for qualified candidates. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative renewable energy and structural design projects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: - Design steel piles and steel connections for a variety of structural applications - Develop cast-in-place concrete slab designs - Apply knowledge of renewable energy systems and terminology to structural design - Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets - Support project and task management activities - Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: - A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) - 2+ years of experience in solar structure design - PE License is a plus - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in structural design software, especially LPile , Mathcad , and Ex...
