Job description

JOB DUTIES : Responsible for developing user interface and web framework design, support content management systems, and research new technologies. Specific duties include: (1) Collaborating with team members to review and enhance existing software; (2) Troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications and identifying areas for improvement and refactoring; (3) Developing and integrating reusable components within the existing UND software framework; (4) Leveraging JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, frameworks, and applications (including jQuery, Node.js, and Gulp) to introduce interactivity into applications and build pipelines; (5) Developing and maintaining client and web-based applications and address website software programming needs (including dynamic content, form logic, data collection, reporting, and payment handling); (6) Monitoring, testing, and optimizing usability and performance and ensuring cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility; and (7) Evaluating production websites with analytics software to ensure the effectiveness of a site’s user interface and architecture.
