Practice Foothills Animal Hospital was established in 1979. We specialize in customer care, family-feeling style practice, small animal dental care, and general surgery. Foothills Animal Hospital is a custom-built clinic located in the heart of Green Mountain. We have long-term clients that have been coming here for over 40 years. More about the Role: The Veterinary Technician assists the veterinarians and other technicians with patient care and treatment, monitors hospitalized pets, maintains inventory, prepares prescriptions, performs routine in-house laboratory work, educates clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assists with surgical procedures. Competencies: - Patience & Compassion: Remaining professional while still making teammates, clients, and patients feel as comfortable as possible regardless of the situation or challenges presented.
