This is a union-represented position. Essential Job Accountabilities: Must be able to operate asphalt, screed, or concrete paver. Ability to operate other paving related equipment as well such as rollers, screed, etc. Must be able to safely perform a number of construction paving duties. Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor. Moves levers, depresses pedals, turns handwheels, and pushes throttle to control and guide machine.
