Position Function: This position provides support to the agronomic research program operations including data collection, field management, and assisting in farm production operations and facilities maintenance. Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year. Salary Grade : UC: Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: This job is located at the Brown Loam Experiment Station at 1676 Brown Loam Road; Raymond, MS 39154 Anticipated Appointment Date: May 2026. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assists the agronomic faculty and farm staff with demonstrations and/or projects. 2. Assists with plot/bed preparation, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, applying herbicide, and harvesting of crops. 3.
