Title: Procurement Specialist State Role Title: Procurement Officer I Hiring Range: $45,000 - $50,000: Pay Band: 4: Agency: New College Institute: Location: Martinsville: Agency Website: https://newcollegeinstitute.org/: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: The Procurement Specialist will report to the Director of Finance & Human Resources, playing a key role in managing procurement and contracting functions for the agency. This position involves overseeing the development, solicitation, and administration of contracts in compliance with APSPM, CPSM guidelines, the Virginia Public Procurement Act, and CAPP regulations. This position will be responsible for but not limited to managing procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiation; drafting and issuing Invitations for Bids (IFBs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)l; and evaluating bids and making award recommendations.
