Job description

Description The Medical Assistant works as part of the medical office team performing those clinical and clerical duties necessary to prepare patients for a visit and assist with the patient visit as needed. 1. Prepare medical treatment room and set up patient care equipment 2. Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results 3. Keeps supplies ready by ensuring exam rooms are stocked with proper supplies. 4. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintain supplies; performing preventative maintenance; and calling for repairs. 5. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. 6. Prepare patients for tests or treatments 7. Use sanitation practices in health care settings 8.
