Position Purpose: The Neuro Intermediate Care unit at Mount Carmel St. Ann's is 35 beds. The Neuro IMCU is an intermediate Medical Surgical unit with a Joint Commission certified specialization in Stroke and Neuro care. It is a team driven, fast paced, intense and engaging environment for learning. In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Staff Registered Nurse, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.
