As a Jet Bridge Technician I, you will ensure Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB or Jet Bridges), Pre-Conditioned Air Units (PCAir) and Ground Power Units (GPU) as well as select critical airport infrastructure and transportation systems are maintained and repaired. Jet Bridge Technician I: Serves in a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Shop in the Airport Maintenance Department at Washington Dulles International Airport. Troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and performs preventive maintenance on critical airport assets such as Passenger Boarding Bridges (Jet Bridges), 400 Hz Aircraft Ground Power Units (GPUs), Aircraft Pre-Conditioned Air Units (PCAIRs), and related Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Also assists with maintenance and repair of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and electronic components of various types of mobile equipment and auxiliary generators including Mobile Lounges, Plane-Mates, Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Apparatus, and Variable Message Boards/Signs...
